YagiCAD | YAGICAD now has it's own web site at: http://www.yagicad.com Check here for the most recent versions, updates, and additional information. | |
YagiCAD6![]() ![]() | Version 6.0 December 2009 | The latest version 6.0 of YagiCAD is now available at : http://www.yagicad.com This version has significant changes, including an updated windows graphical interface, the ability to design and analyse antennas consisting of dipoles (for conventional Yagis) and square loops (for Quads) or combinations of both (for Quagis). Other improvements include 3D views of the antenna, improved optimisation options and interfaces. The new version runs in Windows 95 through Windows 7. Visual Basic runtime is no longer required, using the free Microsoft .Net Framework instead. |
YagiCAD52![]() |
Version 5.2 November 2007 |
YagiCAD 5.2 is
an antenna
analysis tool for designing and analysing Yagi-Uda beam aerials. This version has the option to genetically optimise designs acording to several parameters and across a given frequency range. This tool plots E&H radiation patterns and feed impedances. YagiCAD can also design suitable matching networks to suit the designed antennas. NEC electromagnetic simulation techniques are combined with known impirical models to produce results that more accurately predict actual antenna performance. Antennas can be designed from scratch or can be based on a library of well known designs. This version runs under MS Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP and requires Microsofts VB5 runtime (available from many other free download sites). See the readme file (and YC50HLP.txt in the zip file) for further details. Written by Paul McMahon VK3DIP. YagiCAD 5.2 is freeware. Download here: YC52Dist.zip YAGICAD 5.2 superseeds previous versions. Use YAGICAD 4.1 (yagicad.zip) if you need to run under DOS. |
YagiCAD51![]() |
Version 5.1 April 2004 |
YagiCAD 5.1 is
an antenna
analysis tool for designing and analysing Yagi-Uda beam aerials. This tool plots E&H radiation patterns, feed impedances, and designs suitable matching networks. NEC simulation techniques are combined with known impirical models to produce results that more accurately predict actual antenna performance. New antennas can be designed from scratch or can be based on a library of well known designs. This version runs under MS Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP and requires Microsofts VB5 runtime (available from many other free download sites). See the readme file and YC50HLP.txt for further details. Written by Paul McMahon VK3DIP. YagiCAD 5.1 is freeware. Download here: yagicad51.zip YAGICAD 5.1 superseeds the DOS version YAGICAD 4.1 (yagicad.zip) in all respects. |
